Hey all,

New to bikes and have a possible stupid question. My bike has an intermittent squeak only when the clutch is out. Sounds like it’s coming from the front sprocket of the chain. Is it possible this will squeak if it’s a little dry and needs grease?? Thanks

Is this while moving or in nuetral setting still? Can you get a video of it? Friend of mine had an intermitting squeak from is 2000 800, not sure he ever found the cause. If the chain is dry, you may get a pulsating humming like noise while riding, but never had a squeaking on mine.
