Vulcan 2000 Classic LT
Bought used with 3600 miles, July 2011, after totaling out my 2004 Rogue. Road it first, while still using crutches and a walker, results of crash. We now have a healthier relationship. We even pull in sled pulls, and fare well.
2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 Classic LT (White)
Programmer. I run Shell Rotella triple protection 15W40 diesel oil, and am happy with it. It meets all the requirements of Kawasaki, including wet clutch capabilities.
Studded Ultimate seating, with removable operator back rest. Dual studded pouches, mounted inside windshield, to hold sun glasses and night glasses. Fatty t bars with new brakeaway throttle lock and Kuryaken grips and palm pads.
Corbin hard bags. Studded tank bib. Cobra fatty engine guard with two sets of Kuryaken pegs. (one set mounted high because Dr set to keep my legs up....). Trailer hitch, interchangeable with rear mounted carrier, for cargo smaller than need a trailer for. Modified stock exhaust and made my own 2 into 1, using a chrome truck stack as my turn out cover. Looks and sounds good.
Forks modified with Race Tech cartridge emulators and flow holes drilled out, running lighter fork oil. Improves the ride. Ohlins adjustable rear suspension.
Wheel and Tire
Stock wheels, but Goodyear Assurance Triple Tred V speed rated tire on rear. Recently put a rear tire, reversed, on the front. Have plenty good history with rear tire, but the front is pretty new to me, yet.
