Motorcycle shops get busy in the summer out here and even getting a tire changed can take three weeks, so when my CBR was in the shop, I bought a second bike. After my accident, I couldn't ride a sport bike due to my knee being a bloody mess, so my Vulcan carried me through until I mended. Then I started going back and forth between Portland and Seattle for work, racking up the mileage on this little guy. It's been a great bike, but the previous owner didn't take it out to play very often (very low mileage when I bought it), and I think I've inherited the dry rot and other problems that bikes that sit too long acquire...
