    Better loose than tight 😎
  2. Vulcan S - Slip on exhaust

    Vulcan 650 S
Either you spend time and money cutting and fabricating or spend more money but less time just swapping out the whole exhaust. Some riders just drill holes in the exhaust. I'm in love with my Arrow Rebel. It's all good. If you decide you don't like what you do you can change it.
  3. I was told about an automatic chain oiler today. Thoughts?

    Vulcan 650 S
Back in the day 😁 s lot of street bikes had auto oilers. Worked ok but are messy. Since the S is not running spoke wheels it shouldn't be too hard to keep clean.
  4. Rear LED indicator install

    Vulcan 650 S
Uh the LED headlight has NOTHING to do with the turn signals. If you add LED signals you WILL need the LED relay. Just sayin.

If the fuel pump is not coming on I would start with fuse and relay. do you have fire getting there and leaving, if so go to the pump.

  12. Tension on the drive chain

    Vulcan 650 S
I did have problems with that same method. But since I started torquing to 25 ft lb and using a strand of 12gauge single conductor between the chain and sprocket it has been better. I too adjust for maximum play. Better loose than tight.

    Vulcan 650 S
Did I stumble across the Harley Davidson forum??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  16. Tension on the drive chain

    Vulcan 650 S
Better a bit loose than ANY too tight. tight spot is the same as hitting the counter shaft with a hammer with each rotation. This is the most difficult chain to adjust correctly. I finally figured out to torque the axle to 25 foot pounds then adjust the chain, otherwise it tightens up when I...
  17. Burning of oil smell

    Vulcan 650 S
Chain lube that slings onto the stock exhaust will burn off. and it may take several sessions to completely burn off. One advantage of aftermarket exhaust
  18. Converting my Classic to Nomad

    Vulcan 1500
At first I thought that you didn't have the bracket that comes off the rear of the passenger floor board mount but looking closer it looks like you do, What i think you lack is a threaded boss at the top rear corner of both side covers. Maybe a drill and tap. or a little welding or Maybe some...
