  1. Vaquero owners thread

    Vulcan 1700
It was rough to end my relationship with my 2011 Vaquero, but I moved on to a 2015 Indian Chieftain Blue and Ivory in January this year. Miss you guys.

  3. Question on popping

    Vulcan 1700
I also have the Cobra Tri-Ovals and Thunder Tornado Air Kit installed and PCv. I get some pop on Deceleration at 2100 rpm some times, but less since I switched to regular unleaded fuel.

My Commander IIs ended up with a little over 20 , 000 on the rear tire before I changed it out with another Commander II, a couple of weeks ago, still running the front Commander tire with a little over 2 1,000 now.

It fits the Vaquero just fine, on the Voyager, you may have to cut the neck a little shorter so the filter does not hit your lower fairing. I heard this from several Voyager owners. You also buy the plate to replace the factory air box on the left side.
  9. Cool Seat

    Vulcan 1700
I have these heat shields, too. Have had them on my 2011 Vaquero for the last two years, they work great and hold up well.
  10. Dynabeads, comments

    Vulcan 2000
Run them in my tires on my 2011 Vaquero with over 35,000 miles, I run average 75 mph around here and up to 100 many times, smooth as can be - always.

Say, Element, let us know if your left foot and boot get fried and if you think the Vaquero actually runs cooler with the cover removed. Looks nice being polished. Since I have a black Vaquero, I might have to paint it black with some high temperature paint if I decide to remove the left cover.
  12. Risers...need a source

    Vulcan 900
Chucksters Custom Risers are nice, using a pair on my 2011 Vaquero. Come in black or chrome.

I use 87 octane in my 2011 Vaquero with over 35,000 miles, riding 2up most of the time and also pulling a trailer a lot, too. Less popping on deceleration and no pinging.

Lean my Vaquero on the kickstand and put air in via a hand pump of 24 psi into the air shocks. :D

Think several have used it, you put it on the right side and plug the intake hose from the left side, or remove the left side cover for a cleaner look.
