Motorcycle Covers

If you guys park bikes on the streets do you use a cover or leave it uncovered? Has this been an issue with law enforcement for obscuring plates?Parking in NYC.

I would guess if your going to leave it for an extended amount of time I would cover it. If your only stopping for an hour or a few hours then no. That's weird.

I have not covered a bike on the street but friends and family have, the only thing you need to worry about is that it is legally parked for alternate side rules. Also, secured from theft. You can look into a self storage unit as an affordable option for winter storage. The mechanic I use will store and keep bike on battery tenders but I have no idea what he gets for that.
