Fabricating footpeg bushings?

Hey all!

I bought some MX pegs for my vn800a that the mounting part is too small. The mounting peg has 1 piece that comes out as opposed to the current mount that has two.

Does anyone have experience fabricating some bushings to make this work?

You are going to have to post some pics; no clue what you are trying to achieve by that description...

Yeah I know it's quite vague haha. I don't have any photos at the moment because I'm at the office, i made the post a little too early lol. I'll definitely grab photos when i get home.

The best way i can describe it is the mounting bracket on the bike is too wide for the mount on the peg. Im looking to make or find some sort of bushing i can use to take up the excess space in the mounting bracket.

Will update with photos asap

Nylon washers, you can get them in many thicknesses. Or steel/aluminum bushings

I believe that's what's on my bike currently with some mini floorboards. But the adapters are too big for my pegs

They make them in different setups and sizes. Just buy another set with the proper fit. Is saving $30 really worth the hassle of jerry-rigging something?

Nope not unheard of, and yes(in fact my local Lowe’s stocks 3/8” x1/2” thick nylon washers

Just make sure that the Footpegs rebound properly and are not solid.

Alternatively purchase some made for Kawasaki
