Risers for 04 VN800

Hey Everyone!

I cant seem to find a solid answer anywhere online so I'm hoping this may be of use to me! I currently have an 04 Vulcan 800 custom, and I wanted to put risers on it to bring the handlebars up, and then put either a drag or tracker bar on it (God I love the look of t-bars) but I cant seem to find any solid risers for use. I have an interest in the Biltwell Murdock but that is unfortunately an imperial product where the vulcan is obviously a metric cruiser. Does anyone know of any sort of conversion that can be done to allow for the use of this type of product? Thanks in advance for any possible info you may have!

Something like these? If so, these are H2R risers, about $100 on amazon

I've seen these before, do they allow you to use imperial risers, or are those the risers themselves?

They're more or less just spacers to add 2" of pullback and 1/2" of rise to the T-bars. They have one T10 threaded hole (T10 bolt not included, I needed a 30mm long bolt for my triple clamp thickness) to secure them to the top triple clamp and then one smooth hole (also sized for a 10 bolt and an, I believe, 13mm or 15mm nut/head) for the studs in the bars to go through and secure to with a bolt from the bottom side of the spacer/riser.

I don't see why you couldn't use them with risers/clamps if your bars use those, but if that's the plan it might just add extra expense, complexity, and points of possible failure versus just using taller risers/clamps.

Are those the original bars from your bike?

Yeah, they're the stock bars for the mean streaks.

aeromachmfg out of Charlotte North Carolina makes a riser for the 800 AM-4275C
but watch the bolts length in the kit because they are a bit short and you want a good length bolt to have a good reach into the riser
