Hi from Wollongong Aust

Hi all my name is Teza (Terry) i currently ride a XVS 1100 but considering buying a 1999 Nomad 1500cc need some advice on a possible problem somebody told me about.Presumably the same motor is in all 1500cc Nomads worldwide do they break the oil drive gear (Plastic/Nylon)and sieze the motor usually around the 60,000 Klm mark if this is correct did Kawasaki do a recall would appreciate any feedback as all Nomads i am looking at have around that Klms.

Don't know about all the recall stuff, but welcome to the forum, I would pose that question on one of the other boards, I'm sure some of the nomad riders would be more then happy to answer your question.

Just from experience, I doubt very highly that it's true or they have fixed the problem, you don't sell bikes that have problems without addressing those problems for very long, just saying.

Again welcome and enjoy.
