How to add more power?

I have a 2000 VN800 custom bobber. I’ve done the debaffle and grampsize air filter mod with the carb tune.

I was wondering if there’s anything else that can be done? Not really needed, as it’s just a cruiser. I’m just curious more than anything.

Most of the mods are listed on the RussianWolf website, so you can check those out, but I don't think there was much in the way of "performance" mods other than scooter/grampsizing.

There is next to nothing available in the way of aftermarket performance parts for our bikes, and considering they were discontinued 13 years ago I doubt that is going to change. You could always try to find ways to lighten the bike, but that will only get you so far, and if it's already a bobber it's probably about as light as it's going to get.

The unfortunate (and frankly reasonable) response most people get with this question is "why spend that money on the 800 when you can just go buy a more powerful bike for the same cost."

Never argue with a fool: onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.
