Will this petcock work?

Tried to rebuild my petcock but must have done something wrong because no matter what I have the knob turned to, if I pull the fuel line gas will come pouring out. Does this in all 3 settings. Not sure if this will cause any issues as far as starting or driving the bike. But thought I’d replace it. Bought one online but apparently I got an aftermarket because it doesn’t look exactly the same.
My oem has a larger area in the center for the fuel line then a nipple on the right for the vacuum. This replacement has just 2 nipples and nothing in the center but a bolt.

I’m guessing the fuel line is on the left. It just doesn’t seem to be as big of a nipple. Do you think this will still work?

Factory petcock is not worth rebuilding as it will start to leak again soon.

Aftermarket petcocks are a shot in the dark, it may or may not work.

Best solution is to replace it with a new OEM petcock but they are not cheap.

But to answer your question, yes left is fuel and right is vacuum.
