broken mirror repairs

i had broken the mirror off my bike and the mirror broke all the way into the brake reservoir and broke all the threads out of it. is there any way to repair this?

i check into some kind of glue like (jb weld) but i don't know if that piece is cast aluminium or what it is? or what could be used to repair it?

thanks

Even if it could be "glued" back on, the force of 60 plus mph would eventually break it again.
Replacement is the best option I think.

hey thanks for the replies, and i think (vulcandoc) right even if i could glue it using the store bought stuff which usually sticks a hell of a lot better to your fingers that the part your gluing, or even high priced epoxy, the wind speed and vibrations that are there on most any given day would not take long to wear it down to the point of breaking...
I will have to find another part like it and that part has the brake reservoir and brake handle connection with the cable and all the hardware to make it work all molded together. i can just guess what it's going to cost.

hey thanks again everyone.

should be simple enough to find something on Fleabay or any aftermarket company.

The part that the mirror threads into is 43034-1102. $38.42 from Ron Ayers, if you need to buy a new one.
