Rear fender strut bolts.

I recently had to remove the rear fender to do some maintenance. Removing the 8mm 'allen' strut bolts (3 each side) I found that most of them were 'rounded off' and the allen key was useless. I had to remove them and refit them using a pair of grips. The larger allen bolts that secure the struts to the frame were OK.
I want to replace the six bolts, with OEM parts. There appears to be 2 parts to each bolt. The bolt itself and a threaded collar/washer. I assume that you have to order them separately? I have searched online but I cannot find any part number for these. My local shop tells me they can't order them for me without the part numbers. Can anybody help?

Plug your bike into this website, and search diagrams.

Mine is a 1998 Classic. but i think the rear fender bolts were the same on all vn's from '95 - '06. I've Seen them in the manual diagram but that doesn't have part numbers. I'll check out partzilla now.

Just checked and it doesn't help. There is no rear fender strut shown in the images and no strut bolts? They do list an aftermarket replacement strut and aftermarket bolts, but they are just low profile allen bolts without the chrome collar and NO Kawasaki part numbers.

Thanks Ante87. That is a good site......having checked it seems that the bolts I have now are NOT OEM parts. The bolts shown on their site are OEM and they are not the same as mine. Probably why I cant find replacements the same as I have. I will just order the OEM which appear to be 'hex head bolts' and not 'allen bolts'. At least I have the part number now!

Could 92150B be what you're looking for? They are allen head bolts, my bike has a couple in the storage compartment. Now I know where they go.
