Mustang Seats--Reviews

Just got back from 3 day ride on stock seat with wooden beads. Can't do that anymore! LOL I've had Corbins and they are just OK IMHO. 99% sure I'm going to a Mustang, but don't know which style: wide touring, square back, tripper, etc. I normally ride one up.

So . . . what Mustang seat do you have and how is it on comfort? Thx!

SOLD LAST YEAR: 2006 Triumph Rocket III, Black
SOLD LAST YEAR: 1967 Honda 305 Dream, Black

I have the Mustang Wide on my Vulcan.

I have a bad back. I don't know if I could ride for very long without this seat. It is as comfortable a seat as I have ever ridden on. I highly recommend the Mustang!

I have a mustang on my 1500 Nomad and itís really comfortable. The only thing that I dislike is it shoves me forward a couple inches, Iím tall so it cramps me a little. Your mileage may vary.

I believe that there is only one available. I also have the backrest but hardly use it, it has nice support without it.

Vintage Wide Tour three piece on an 800A

went from a max of 30-40 minutes for the stock saddle to an easy 5 hour ride, (pausing only long enough to fill up).
That's a major change in anyone's book!

That is impressive! So what is a 3-peice seat? I see Mustang has a 2-piece.

It's a two piece seat with the drivers backrest.
The extra support of that backrest makes a difference.
Without it, I'm only good for three to three and a half hours.

If that backrest is removable, I think that is the one I'm going to get. I've had Corbins, and to me they are just OK, but much better than stock. I'm looking for something better.

It is removable.
When it's not attached the drivers saddle has a small flap that seals down with a velcro strip to cover the backrest mounting socket.
Without the backrest, it's hard to tell from the two piece.
