looking for some advice

Having some issues with choke and keeping motor running without choke wide open. Going to clean carbs, but should I do anything else?

Get a can of seafoam. Follow directions on the back and dump some into your fuel tank. Once it gets your system clean, use it on a regular basis. You will be glad you did.

Thanks, I was also thinking the issue might be with jetting and back pressure. I have cobra 2" drag pipes. I will have that looked at as well.

Did you also add an air kit, if you have drag pipes you will want more air with the jetting, I also have a Power Commander.

You should re-jet if you have not done that, also if cleaning the carb does not help you might want to see if you have a vacuum leak.
