Dished my tank old school

Just got my 800 back together. My son dropped it at low speed and put a ball size dent in the side of the tank. Instead of repairing it, I dished bother sides with a rubber mallet and rusted the dishes with chlorine. Also rebuilt the front end with new shims and oil, added fork boots, painted it, added some vinyl pinstripes, installed a smaller tail light and blacked out some chrome. Had previously shaved down the ridiculous duck tail on the rear of the seat.

Nice paint scheme, Shores! How much tank volume was lost dishing both sides?

And you should enter your showpiece 800 in "Bike of the Month".

Shores, apparently fewer bikes have been entered the last few months so the administrators decided to have a Bike Of The Spring entry thread!

Details here: https://www.vulcanforums.com/forums/7...ry-thread.html

You should definitely enter your bike!
