New seat vs renew seat

Looking for a new seat for my 96 vulcan 800a. Would you go with mustang seats or get a refoam of the original seat?

If you get a new one, I'd be interested in your stock one to cut up and modify into a solo seat. PM me. Does anyone know of threads here or elsewhere on how to mod a stock seat into a solo seat?

IMHO, The bike is always more worth with original parts. I would prefer to keep an original seat. All those single seats just ruin the original look and great Kawasaki design.
