Clutch Handle

I have a 96 VN800A that I am bobbing out and after changing the clutch cable, the clutch handle doesn't have any tension. Has anyone run into this problem? How did you fix it?

If you are using the stock cable, there is an adjustment about mid way on the cable. This is the main adjusting point for it, then make small adjustment at the handle. Should have about an 1/8" gap before it starts to pull the clutch.
