2003 800 classic question.

I bought the bike 2 months ago .I've been doing a lot of reading on the forum and hear people posting about doing 80 mph ...My bike when I get up to 60 mph it feels like I'm in a tornado lol its rough and a lot of vibration and shaking.
Does that sound normal for these bikes?
It's completely stock.

Or, could be the rubber balancers :

if it is the rubber balancers then the previous owner of the 2003 might have some information on the vibration

My bike will do 80mph, but the wind buffeting at that speed is way too uncomfortable to me!

That said, it doesn't shake, just sounds like the engine's singin'!

These usually give you a knocking noise when bad at low speeds and idle. Lessens as rpms increase, doubt thats the problem. If a classic, check the spokes for tightness.
