hard downshifting.

I am starting to expierence hard downshifts from 5th to 4th and 4th to 3rd all the time and from 3rd to 2nd about 50% of the time. Never from 6th to 5th or 2nd to 1st and all upshifts are normal. Has anyone else experience this? I have used Amsoil since the 1st oil change with no issue until now and currently have about 15,300 miles on the VV and I first started noticing this around just under 15K miles on the odometer. I put fresh Amsoil oil and filter in about 3 months ago.

I haven't experienced it nor heard of anyone complaining about it. I would take it to the dealership, you should still be under warranty.

This weekend I actually took the VV out of town for a quick 300 mile round trip jaunt to a COC meeting. As I got further into the ride I noticed that the downshifts started taking less effort. By the time I got home it was shiffting normally again. I guess the VV needs to break 35MPH every now and then and be ridden more than 5 miles at a time.
