My wife is average about 5'6". The primary reason for moving the passenger floorboards was they were in my way. When they are flipped down and I stop the bike or try to move it back they hit the back of my legs and are just too far forward on the frame. My wife was riding with two inches of the front of the board unused so I decided to try to slide them back 1.5". She asked if I could lower them a little so I did. I don't know yet if she likes them lower or not, I'll get a report from her on our next cruise.
