Nano question

I bought the Kawasaki iPod kit from my dealer and a 7th generation iPod Nano from my local electronics store. The plug on the kit is an inch wide while the plug on the Nano is less than a 1/4 inch. Is there an adapter that I need to get to hook the two together?

The new iPods and iPhones have a narrow connector called a "Lightening" connector, the old iPods had a connector approx 1" wide. If you look on Amazon, Google or even your local Best Buy you can buy adapters for about $25.

Update.
I picked up the thirty pin to lighting adaptor.
The 7th generation Nano runs flawlessly.
Thanks for the help.

Cool Lightning Adapter

The lightning adapter for the I=Phone 5 and newer Apple products will create headaches in a bike (or any other vibration prone environments. See other posts where an ace bandage and rubber bands are used. The vibration will stop the adatpter often - remember there are not two connections in that small space.

I hope KAWI gets a new cable. I have more options on my I=Phone 5 than my I-Pod (not the same quantity of music though). I love riding with 18,000 songs!
