Vent Removal

Stupid Vaquero Question...

2011 Vaquero. You know those vents on either side of the headlight?

...How are they removed?

No stupid questions, you know better ...

You can remove the speakers and see that they are held in by three screws. You can remove them as well through there, but frankly, the upper portion of the fairing is so easy to remove I will just take it off next time. Working through that hole is a pain in the butt.

Hmm. Maybe I'll just make it a weekend project and take the upper fairing off then. I want to remove the vents and plasti-dip them black. I already did the headlight trim and now the vents are screaming for it. Thanks for the tip, I'd have never thought to remove the speakers...

You do know they are not vents..right? Just plugs to cover the holes for the lights they didn't give us Vaquero buyers

I wish we could make them into a ram air induction to force cool air to the motor and air filter area.
