Uhhh oh . . I feel a Power Pro jones coming on!

I just found out, thanks to another dedicated member that the Power Pro 2 into one pipe is now available for the Classic. I have always like 2 into 1's because of the superior exhaust extraction characteristics. I had a Jardine on my old Vulcan and aside from bluing at the welds, it was a cannon!

I just heard a Vaquero on You Tube with the POWER PRO pipe on it. Oh my! Did it sound sweeeet! The Classic needs a little bark IMHO.

Question: I'm running stock everything right now . . can I Power pro without changing anything else for the season? I think Intakes and Fuel Commander will be next winter, but I'd like to Bark Up this year if funds permit. I've spent a fair bit of change already this year.

Opinions?

Perusing the forum today I discovered the same thing. I will indeed go with the PowerPro. I like the deep sound the PowerPro produces. I would speculate you could go with the PP without the intake and fuel processor without going to far on the lean side. Hopefully my budget will allow me to go all in before summer is over.

I'm in the same boat as you. I could do it, but I'd feel a little guilty. Happy, but guilty! I have to figure out if I can get one in Canada though. I HATE paying duty (or brokerage) and freight when dealers and distributors in Canada should be making this stuff available.

I rode my bike a bit more tonight. Bear in mind that I bought it about 2.5 months ago, and have ridden it about 20 miles in total! Tonight was the first time with the batwing, the wind deflectors and the exhaust punched out a bit. I'm going to love it. Now that the batwing is on it, it feels Street Glide like . . . quite cool. A little help from RacnRay on the throttle, and a little more bark on the pipes and I'll be a happy, happy man!

I have had to get used to the lack of power from the 109, but really, what has that kind of torque anyway. I'm enjoying the riding position, and even (under power) the exhaust note . . as I've said before . . it's coming into focus!

i have the power pro on the voyager and didnt have any other mods and it ran fine
i did find it was a little to loud ,especially for the pillion
so i put the quieter muffler on and its nice note ,still lound under throttle but not ear pearcing
i have the power commander on now and its better air system next

you will get a major power gain with the pipes

As far as the 109 goes I would like to have a C109RT, the touring version of the 109.
I received my Daytripper today and will be installing later this evening. I am hoping for more comfort and will find out shortly.

V&H pro-pipe

I tried to order a power pro for the 1700 Classic and even though it was listed in the V&H website I was told that they made an error and the power pro was not available for the 1700 Classic Needless to say I was very disappointed.
