Fuel smell

I been noticing a fuel smell when riding so I was checking the gas cap seal and I found this in the pictures. Is this a gas cap vent seal? Looks like it ripped.

That's exactly what that is. And yes, it's definitely ripped.

Without knowing your specific bike info, I can't dig around to see if that part is available by itself, or if you have to buy the whole cap assembly. If you'll post the info (or include it in the information under your name, found on your profile), I'll check around and see what I can locate.
