Front wheel axle spacer question

After changing the front tire and putting the wheel back on, i noticed that one spacer on the axle touches the fork and the other is about 3/32 short of touching the fork Took all apart and re assembled with the same result. Everything is as tight as it will go. And there is no movement in the spacer. Everything seems to move as its supposed to and theres no wobble or anything. Has anyone else experienced this?

It's an illusion. I remember thinking the same thing once, but if you remove the spacer you'll see it's hard up against a smaller diameter collar around the axle shaft hole in the fork.
