Givi Outback Trekker on a Nomad?

Can anyone think of a reason why my 58L Outback Trekker wouldn't work on a Nomad?

I just bought a 2014 Nomad and ordered a Cobra rear rack. My wife and I are doing a 3,000km trip this summer and I'd like a top case. I already have the Outback Trekker for my Vstrom 1000. I can buy a Universal mount for 60 bucks.

I don't want to spend $1,000 on a nice trunk right now as I don't want it on the bike unless we are on a long trip, so something I can take on and off easily would be ideal.

I know it's not going to look very good, but as long as it works i'm ok with that

As long as you can mount it securely to the bike and your happy with it I'm sure it will work great
