Thumbs up Taper steering bearings, worth it?

Hey,
I was thinking about replacing my steering stem ball bearings with the All Balls Stem taper Bearings. I only have 10k miles on my Voyager and the front end is still tight. Any opinions on the subject? Is it worth a days labor and $50 for parts or should I just ride until the original ball bearings wear out.

All Balls head bearings fixed head shakes on my Voyager, Nomad, and 800B (that one twice, after water got in the first set). So I'm a believer. Roads down here aren't the best, and appear to be very much harder on suspension and bearings than your roads in the USA are. But I've never had a bad experience with All Balls... once I sorted the water sealing out to prevent rust getting in there. I did the work myself, it's not hard if you collect the right tools together.

35000 miles on my 2012 Nomad. Still tight, no problems. Mostly interstate.

Tapered roller bearings fixed the steering head shake when releasing the handlebars.
Just make sure you check them after a few miles.
I'm adding Gary's fork brace and noticed the bearings need tightening adjustment after about 6,000 kms.
