Mustang Seat Question for Vaquero

How does the Mustang Seat position you on the Vaquero. I'm 5'8" with a 30 inch inseam. I have a Corbin now and it puts me too far back for a comfortable riding position and am considering the Mustang for that reason. Any comments anyone?

I am 6'1" and 250. I just installed a 1 piece Mustang on my 2012 Vaquero. It seems to have moved me back about 2". I can reach the grips OK but it not that comfortable for me. The seat itself is very comfortable. I am thinking about installing a different set of bar risers to make up the difference.

I think it moved me back a little but I do remember. I do know the drivers back rest is a worth it option, never leave home with out it and the seat is firm but much better than the factory one.

Wow I have a total different conclusion. My one piece mustang seat moved me forward and it lower. If you compare stock seat to mustang side by side you can tell the mustang seat moves rider forward. That's how they make the passenger seat larger is taking that space away from driver/rider. I do agree the back rest is well worth the money. Good luck making your decision.

All I know is that I feel like I am reaching for the bars now. Maybe its the angle at which you sit now with the new seat, I have not actually measured so I can only tell you how I feel. I agree, I love the back rest. Once you get the height and angle adjusted for you. It's the ticket to a better ride.

Its probably because its lower, it makes you reach for bars. I love the green and black color combo on your bike, looks great.
