OEM Backrest raised / modifications

Backrest has been raised. Much better but still could be raised higher my wife says. This change has introduced another problem though. I now know why it was so low. The reason is, at this height, it introduces slight vibration on her back now. It needs the bottom of the steel plate inside to be against the lower bar.

She says it's tolerable but that's riding around locally. On a trip it may become an issue. Some sort of cloth wrap or whatever would likely resolve it and absorb the vibration but it wouldn't be a solution. I think this is a winter project. A whole new plate, foam, cover, etc.

We took it apart and drilled new holes in the steel plate, used Rivet Nut Bolts.
