Man, I forgot about updating this thread
Rolled past 22,700 miles this afternoon. And with nearly 8,000 miles the rear tire has 4/32" remaining of the original 11/32". If my math is correct I should get just over 10,000 miles from the rear tire (using 2/32" as worn out) That's better than the 5,000 miles I got from the OE tire (changed it at 6,000 miles when bald in the center) but I was expecting closer to 20,000 miles for the price. I will say I showed these tires no mercy, I haven't done any burnouts but the WOT 0 to 80MPH runs have been commonplace
But I do keep an eye on the air pressure and top them off as needed.
I've got very few miles in wet conditions so I can't really comment on that.
But dry handling is good. It does follow cracks more than I'd like but I can't say they're worse than any other tires I've had. Not sure if it's the narrower size or just the tire itself but I REALLY like the way the Voyager handles in the turns on these. Couple of days ago I was running Pine River Road (a good twisty road for my area) and I was dragging the rh floorboard to the point the board pushed up what felt like an inch. And it just felt planted, no drama at all. Did I mention I like these in the twisties? Yeah I do. lol
I'll be running these tires for another 6 weeks OR till they're worn out, whichever comes first. I'm taking a week long trip to Tennessee for some bucket list riding so new rubber is going on for that. New tires are Metzeler ME888 Marathon Ultra 130/90-16 and 170/70-16 picked them up for $264.57 from OEM Cycleshop on ebay. Ebay had a coupon for 15% off anything over $100. ChaChing!
That's all for now.
