Nomad Accessories

I am new to Kawasaki I have trouble finding aftermarket parts for my Nomad.
When I look for parts I find lots of stuff for a 1700 Vulcan but the Nomad is not listed. Do the Vulcan parts fit the 1700 Nomad?
I am interested in highway lights and windshield similar to oem.

The hardware is relatively easy to find. Many guys convert their bikes to fairings and have the shields just hanging around the garage. Go to classifieds wanted and post what you want. See if you get any bites.

Hi Retro

I only wish that were true. I have a "WTB" post for windshield hardware on our site and on Vulcanbagger site and not one response. These guys and gals converting must be hiding their shields away!

If anyone out their reading this post has shield hardware please drop me a line.

You could trawl through the forum sigs and photos looking for those who have swapped out their Nomad shields for fairings, and send them a PM to see whether they're prepared to part with their shield & hardware? One that springs to mind is Vulcanrider03 over on the VBA? Luc is in Canada, but there'll be others who've done the same and who live a little closer to you, I'm sure.

Hi Peg;

Thanks for the reply. I did just that when I first posted and found two folks speaking about installing batwings. One member contacted me yesterday with a used Classic LT shield so maybe it will work out.
I also was considering maybe just trying out a batwing to see if it would be quieter than the stock windshield. I asked the member with the windshield for his opinion. We will see...

In the meantime, I have my tall "winter" shield on the bike (Florida really doesn't have a winter, just some occasional temps in the 60's (F).
