Voltage Regulators Burnt up

Has anypne out there every experienced this; my bike died at red light the other day took it to shop and they both my voltage regulators had burnt up and melted the wiring harness. It's going to cost 1200 for parts. If anyone has experienced this please let me know.

Hi when my bike was just over 7 months old the bike died on me flat battery turns out my voltage regulators packed up, now I no there is 2 sit back to back never did say if both had stopped working,
but they did replace the two.
no burnt out wires, just like I said no charge going to battery all fixed under warranty
