1700 Voyager 2009

I had my bike die at the red light today. Nothing worked the bike would not turn over or come on. I went and got a battery but nothing. Has anyone out there that has a 1700 ever had this happen? Please let me know if you might know the problem.

Some of the 1700 had a short created from vibration on the cable under the ignition switch. The tank would rub on it where the cable turns and goes under it. You might want to check that as well as the fuses,

There was a recall for this issue....take it to your local dealer and get it fixed. Though the fix is basically a rubber boot over the wires.
