lowers

I realized in recent travel that most of the undesirable, helmet rattling wind I'm getting is from the lower sides of the windscreen. anyone have lowers on a classic? I am going to purchase a pair but would appreciate any input in making this decision.
thanks

Yes! I bought lowers for mine and it made a huge difference. You won't be disappointed.

On my Classic, I had the factory ones with a set of oversized plastics. Once I changed a Kawasaki Quick Release system on the shield the factory lowers no longer worked.

I went to a Memphis Shades set-up using a MEK1934 mounting kit with MEM5804 shields. The Memphis Shades set seemed to work much better than the factory set-up.

I think I still have the factory set if you are interested...

Here's what the Memphis Shades look like with a shorter shield.

Friends tell me I need to get in shape. Round is a shape, isn't it?

Kap,
I took your advise and get the Memphis Shades ordered. I'll have them Wednesday and post my delight once I get to try them out.
thanks to all for the input.

WOW! this is what I've been needing for a long time.
my glasses aren't dancing on the bridge of my nose any more.
this clears up my vision at higher speeds. I haven't had my helmet on
yet but I'm sure the rattle will be much much less.
I've made numerous 700+ day rides and the wind is what wears
me down. I'll be getting my IBO certification soon!
this is in the 5 best comfort mods I've put on a bike!

attaboy to Memphis Shades
