Short review of Michelin Commander II
Just putting out info that could help undecided riders who need new tires.
**Installed on rear 3000 miles ago and on front 2000 miles ago.
**My bike is a 2014 Voyager.
**Had 7600 on rear and 9600 on front when replaced. Could have put 1 K more on each but I had trips coming up.
** Tires were bought from and installed by dealer. Total cost for rear was $298.00 and $225 for front, which included putting a 90 degree stem on the front (a must !!).
** Rear size is: 180/65/16.....Front size is: 130/90/B16
**I am very happy with the handling. The OEM tires did not handle well on the tar snakes (you know where they pour tar to fill cracks on the roadway!), well, that problem was solved with the MC II.
**Based on other reviews I expect to get 20 K miles on these tires and if that's the case I will stick with MC II from now on.
**Note of caution for those who never had new tires before. They will feel "slippery" for the first 100 miles.
