electrical question

I was riding home today when my XM crapped out, I fiddled with it trying to turn it back on but nothing. In the past the long term effects of the bike vibration has caught up to the crappy little receiver but this time it turned back on when I got down to 25MPH as I got caught in traffic. As I sped up past 20/25 the receiver turned off again, I fiddled with the plug and nothing. Get down to 25 boom it turns on, get to 20 or 25 it turns off. This happened all the way home, it didn't matter how I got to 20/25MPH hammer it or nice and easy, get to that speed and the power would cut out to the receiver.

Any ideas on why the aux power would stop getting power?
