The Ivanized wait was worth it...

Shipped Monday, just received and did a test ride. I didn't even bother to change out of my gym attire I was so excited. Looked like a righteous dork am sure.
Regardless, definite improvement in various categories.

In Noob lingo...
1. The bike gets to highway speed much quicker.
2. My popping and or backfiring or whatever was causing complete strangers to run for cover is gone.
3. The engine "sounds" smoother, I can't even explain that properly.
4. Throttle response feels much more receptive
5. Thank the good lord it is a little easier getting the ecu back in the rubber mount.

It probably does everything else listed on Ivan's website, all I know for now is I get where I'm going seemingly quicker and smoother without worrying about popping embarrassment.

Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Another happy customer! It is everything you said and more, each time you ride you find out something that changed for the better.
Go for a long ride and feel the heat difference!!! not as hot.

Like I said "New girlfriend in ole wife's body" Nice!!!!!

Enjoy your new motorcycle

I sent mine in with only 10miles on the clock, I'm at 140 and 130 miles were all smiles! I had my stryker flashed and could not believe the difference, so after logging on here and another Vulcan site it was a no brainer.

Just got Ivanized. If you're sick of hearing a broken record, stop reading, because this is just another person happy with his choice to get Ivanized.

I rode from Manhattan to Ivan's shop just north of NYC to have it done, and then I rode to Rochester from Ivan's shop, about 5 hours. WOW! Everything about performance is better. More power everywhere (a lot more), even with the stock air and pipes. No popping, coughing, bogging, backfiring etc., on decel or anywhere else. And it is running cooler. I don't have a temp gauge except for the one on the bottom of my thighs, and there is NO DOUBT that it is running cooler. I can tell both on the highway and in the city.

This Ivanizationism wave is a good one. It cost less than the fuel processor I put in my 900, and the performance improvement has been better. For example, the fuel processor never got rid of the popping for me.

Happy and safe riding,
Dan

Nicely done vulcandan, is a shame how restrictive they send these off the assembly line. I definitely noticed less heat also as my fried juevos became over easy....the throttle receptiveness is considerable imo.

I wouldn't say its "cool." But it is cooler. And the throttle response up through the gears is night and day better. Took me by surprise the first time.

Do you guys know if it is possible to "go for a ride" to Ivan's shop and have it done right there on the spot?
I'm in Toronto area, but I wouldn't mind a nice ride to NYC area

Others have done this, just call him ahead of time to make sure he can work you in his schedule.
