tie downs

I went to strap something down on the Nomad, using one of those nets, and realized that there is absolutely no place on the bike that the net can strap to.

What is everyone using to strap things to? Right now, it's not so important, but come June, I will be taking a 2 week trip, and I will need to strap my bag to the passenger seat.

I grabbed a fistful of throttle and all my worries disappeared.

Hi Hayes

I installed a "Hooker" to my rear seat (I know, how can she hold your bag? Doesn't she need to hang on ? &#128522. I think it's made by Willie and Max. It needed some mods to fit under my passenger seat.

Gives you three good size D rings on each side of seat. I also have a Grasshopper backrest that I loop the bag handle over "just in case". Seems to do the trick. The bag is one of those 40 liter dry bags by First Gear.
