Question 2009 Nomad Plugs

Any advice/tips on changing the plugs on my 2009 Nomad 1700? Looks like a pain to get to them but not too bad.

you can do it with out removing the tank, but it's not worth it... just remove it and be done with it. you have to at the very least block the rear of the tank up anyway

Unless the bike has a LOT of miles on it, you won't need to change them. These new style plugs will last a long time. Or perhaps you are just wanting to check the running condition of the engine. If you're just checking, you can pull the rear plug by just pulling up the rear of the tank. I've done it several times. But you will need a thin wall deep socket.
