My 454 had 54mm carbs.....I believe they are bigger than the vulcan....Bill is likely right.....I believe I had #36 MJ......Again the 454 had a different size carb.

The 51mm (2") flange is for the carbs on the 500C model. The 54mm (2 1/8") flange is for the carbs of the 500A model. The carbs have different throat sizes.

Excellent. I think there's a set of 54mm filters in the garage from my 750 that I can test out. Thanks again.
