Take it slow and easy. They told me that it would probably be about now before I could ride again after my Rotator cup surgery in February. I was riding in March. PT was supposed to knock me on my rear and instead I excelled. Now, I've still got a few stiff places and thanks to them shaving quite a bit of bone off I absolutely LOVE any change in the weather, and will for years, but other than that It's working great.
But here's the thing. If at any time you start feeling sore, not muscle but you know, the bone jarring is starting. STOP and call it a day. If you have to have someone else come get the bike and ride it home, do so. It's your bones healing, they take a long time and don't like getting messed with and quite frankly, can screw you up for a long time. So be analytical about your riding/pleasure and call it quits too soon then too late. half hour of enjoyment can cause you months of setback. Talked to too many folks that thought they were Macho, all the way up to the 2nd operation to fix what they tore up in the first.
The dr's are all pretty nice though. Didn't even charge extra the second time. Just charged the same amount.
