air box cover/fuel processor ?

I was looking at dennis kirk and saw this air cover. Kuryakyn The Scoop Air Box Cover - 9961. Was wondering if any one has used it. Do you think a you would need a fuel processor with this cover and de-baffled pipes

From my understanding that unit is "looks" only, no performance gain hence you do not need a fuel processor. The vents on it are actually fake.

That is disappointing that the side vent is not functional. Wonder what it would take to make it functional.

Nope. No processor needed. It doesn't really let more air in the system, it just looks cool.

It's basically the same as the stock air cover but with fancy fins and what-not. There is no actual speed or horsepower gain...but visually, that's different!

Here's the product description:

"Gain extreme visual speed & horsepower with this direct replacement cover! The long speed lines combined with the illusion of a ram air scoop will certainly intensify any ride. Installation is a snap. "

Anyone know the cost? I have a feeling Kawasaki direct replacement is more expensive than it should be.
