Thumbs up Great weekend

Last weekend I picked up my new to me '07 900 LT. This weekend I put it, and me, through its paces. A couple friends and I rode about 130 miles on Saturday and another 210 or so Sunday. This weekend allowed me to get much more comfortable with the bike and what it can/can't do. All in all a great learning experience to continue moving forward.

That sounds like a great weekend to me! Keep riding and keep it between the ditches. I saw a guy lay down a brand new Triumph last weekend. It wasn't really bad but I am sure his ego was pretty hurt!

Kevin, If your interested in an organized group I ride with Southern Cruisers that organizes a ride every two weeks plus some special event fund raisers. They rotate starting points to four sides of Nashville. There are several Chapters in Tennessee.

If your interested membership is free and they welcome all bikes. They seem a bit strict about following Chapter rules but I guess you have to, to take 30+ bikes on a safe group ride. Couple of web links to look at: National Site and Local Chapter Site.
