Hey 5star is that the Red Oak, just south of Dallas, if so Howdy I Live In Sachse, have you introduced your self or have i been in a cave again.
I am interested in your post because apparently the company that makes the pulley, is at the present, apparently having some difficulty getting the pulley made. and at present unable to ship the front and rear pulley.
Myself and others have canceled long standing orders, and are investigating other sources for the front pulley. PM if you would like more info.
My understanding of the front pulley's reduction is that it is more than sufficient to smooth the bike down at 70, and that is actual speed. The rear pulley is much more bling, and has a slightly higher reduction but twice the price. All of the post I have found seem to agree that the reduction of both the front and rear used together, would be wonderful on the highway, but have a detrimental effect on city acceleration at low speeds. Have not been able to find many post where both were used.
Search around some more, maybe other sites before you decide, but I am proceeding to get an overdrive pulley one one way or the other.
