Picked up new bike yesterday.. today 40cms snow

We picked up a 2010 900 Classic LT for my wife, her first bike, yesterday and today major snowstorm with up to 40cms snow expected. First time I had ever ridden a 'cruiser' style was when I drove hers home yesterday... enjoyed it. Looking forward to both of us getting some riding in over the summer, once snow stops!

40 cm!! Holy Crap!! I was talking with my niece today and she left Winnipeg this morning to go to Saskatoon and when she called she told me that she was driving into a blizzard. I hope it doesn't make it to Winnipeg I would like to get some riding in this weekend.

I hope you and your wife enjoy the new ride. I love my 900LT.

It is easier to ask forgiveness than it is to ask for permission

Ugh, no thanks; although i'm sure we're gonna get piled on before summer actually gets here too.

Congrats on the bike, and enjoy the riding time with your wife.

Congrats on the 900 LT; I bought mine less than a year ago, and have thoroughly enjoyed the 8400 miles I've put on it already!

Enjoy!

Congrats to your wife! My wife took the MSF course last year, and we bought her a new 900LT. She loves it!

Congrats on your wife's new bike. I just bought my 900 LT last week - been raining all week so haven't been able to ride it. Hopefully all your snow will melt quickly so you and your wife can get out and enjoy the new ride.

Yall' need to move south! Since April 3rd it has been running between 70F-90F here in the afternoons. There have been two mornings around 40F, but mostly between 55F-60F at 6am. We have had only one day of rain and I have been riding every chance I get including back and forth to work. The only problem we have had is all the yellow "snow" (pollen). I must have washed 1/4 inch (6mm) off the bike this weekend.
