Flags

This might not apply to alot, but based off signature blocks there might be a few able to help me figure this out.

I want to run a triple set of full size flags on my bikes for parades and other special occasions. The only setups I can find are for a square hitch, but I can't find receivers for the 900 that have a square input.

Anyone have any solutions or ideas?

I think he's talking more along the lines of 3x5 flag mounts, for big full size flags (Like you'd fly on your house) for parades, PGR/ALR rides, etc.

OP;

It's gonna have to be a custom job. Nobody makes anything for the VN900. If it were ME, I'd get the Denray hitch;

http://www.motorcycle-hitch.com/Kawasaki.html

There are companies who make flag poles that will actually go into the hole where the ball mounts. If you can't find one, it probably wouldn't be too hard to make one. If you don't weld, take a flagpole and a hardened steel bolt (with a hollow flagpole that is the right diameter that the bolt will fit snugly inside, or maybe with a couple washers), to a welder and have him weld it all up. Then just stick it on the hitch and tighten the nut down! If you don't plan to ever run the trailer hitch, you could even drill out that hole a little bit on the hitch to make it suit your applications.

Kind of a pricey solution, but it's a solution!

Anything else would have to be a more custom fab job, to make some sort of a mount that bolted to the side rails or under the fender.

Yep.

I honestly think the cheapest solution would be just to ride your bike up to a good welding shop, tell him what you want to accomplish, and see what they'll do. Have them just fabricate a nice mount for you. If you can find a good strong house flag mount, you could just weld that to a cheap luggage rack maybe.
