will the ms tri pouch fit on a custom with a batwing?

I have a 900 custom with the 900 custom ms bat-wing fairing. I want to get either the ms tri pouch or the ms big zipper bag for windshield storage. Has anyone had any issues with these fitting the custom? It doesn't look like there is enough room with the customs style of handle bars and master cylinder.

Garage
The height from the triple tree to the bottom of the pouch is 7".

Obviously these are pictures on a Classic, but hopefully you can use your imagination to figure out if it will work with your bars.

I think Velcro is underutilized!! I never thought about it until Vivadude turned me on to the mud flap mod. This is a cheep Viking bag. Two small tabs of Velcro and a stainless zip tie. Holds GREAT!!

the Custom bars are real close to the batwing, I don't think there is enough room for it.

A bit off topic, but I use a little nylon fanny pack I bought at Walmart..the kind you buckle around your waste..I cut the strap to the shortest length, then I just buckle it around the two risers on my bars, the bag sits in front behind the windshield. It's doesn't take anything away from the look of the bike since it's hidden behind the windshield (gradient black) and it carries my wallet, keys, phone, goggles, shades and garage door opener with some room to spare. When I get to where I'm going I just unbuckle it and take it with me, or lock it in the side cases..

I've been thinking about it, maybe a small hard case like a small tackle box, black or silver and lockable that I can bold onto the bars would work out nicely, lockable storage for your small stuff...

yes there is little room for the tri pouch, same as whiting57's. Maybe i will try just a center pouch. I like the fanny pack idea also. Might have to make a trip to town to see what i can find, maybe an army surplus store on the way.
