Air intake and exhaust

I have a 2006 900 classic. And im looking to up grade my air intake and exhaust.i dont wanna go real load on the exhaust cuz i live in a Apt complex, but i dont wanna lose power either. Any ideas?

I have a thunder mfg chrome round intake forsale. Only has maybe 20 miles on it. Its in the forsale section.

2008 Vulcan 900 Custom.

Couple of accessories.

I think the concept is basically the same for all the air intakes and exhausts...

more air in + more air out = more power

From there its just personal preference

I believe for the most power you'd wanna do the PowerPro Tuner, some kind of 2 into 1 exhaust and an air intake of your choice

Some of the exhausts offer "quiet" baffles you could order with them or make sure to leave the baffles in....if you decide to do the 2 into 1 exhaust def stay away from the Hard Krome Sideburners as they are loud!

I personally like the looks and ergonomic design of the Baron Big Air Kit for an intake

I put on a Cobra Power Flo with K&N intake filter

a Cobra Fi2000R electronic fuel injection module

a Scootworks 34 tooth front pulley

and drilled the rear baffle of the stock pipe and have been very happy with the results.
