Check into the ones from Custom world international, I believe they have a few different heights. Mine is a standard, any lower and my wife probably wouldn't ride.

From experience, having done a short trial with various Cobra backrests (and straight from my wife's opinion on the matter )

When considering the Cobra Mini (11" bar height) - she stated that it's really nothing more than a speed bump to slow you down if you start to slide off the back. When considering the Cobra Short (14" bar height) - she thought it was much better than the mini, and felt like it would actually hold someone on the bike over a bump or two. With the short in place, she did get comfortable enough riding 2-up that she would let go of me and do other things, like texting and such, all while on the road.

When upgrading to the Cobra Standard (17" bar height) with the wide pad - She's only sat on the bike once since the upgrade, but her reaction was similar to... OOOH! THIS is what I need until you get one of those... voyagers? (Of COURSE, I immediately asked if that meant I could add another bike to the garage, and she actually *GLARED* at me! LOLOL)

It does cut down the streamlined look of my custom a bit, but doesn't look bad at all. It did take a couple of days to get used to the look, though. The short left a much cleaner line, but then again, I added a luggage rack recently too, so the difference in look was a bit more extreme than just switching backrests.

I've got pics of my cusom with just the cobra short on it, as well as a couple with the standard and luggage rack on it, if you'd like to see them. Will have to wait until I get home, though. Just let me know.

Here are some pics (click for larger, of course): It's the Cobra short with the freedom pad. Just a few (not great) to show it on the bike.

...and here are a few with the Cobra standard backrest (3" taller) with the wide pad. It can come with the freedom pad for a little slimmer look too. I added the standard luggage rack at the same time, and don't find it unattractive at all.

If ya wanna see other angles, just let me know.
